WORK AND PLAY

Just a quick little post tonight, I have been snowed under with work (again), I have 3 files and 1journal due in Monday. It's an insane amount of work, luckily I have managed to finish my Colour and Fabric journal, basically spent 4 days straight on it just to get it finished.

My Fabric Specification File, my Fabric Manipulation file and my Digital Colour File are still in progress. I have been a total hermit this week, chained to my desk and to my sewing machine! Doesn't help that today a new toy came into my life to tempt me away from my work.

I am now the proud owner of a Blackberry Playbook!! I have wanted one ever since they were announced last year, today I had the opportunity to get one and I took it! It's an amazing little device and I can already tell I'm gonna get a little addicted to it, just the same with my Blackberry. I'm writing this post on it right now, taking a while to get used to the keyboard.

A quick snap with my Playbook, pretty decent camera! Anyway I really should get back to work *sadface*. Hopefully now I have this tablet I'll be able to post a lot easier and on the go, it was one of my reasons for getting one.

BURLESQUE

I had one of the best nights out on Saturday, I went to see my very first Burlesque show at the Milkwood Jam bar in Swansea.

It was amazing, not only the performances but the audience, the bar and the general feel of the whole night! I have never seen a Burlesque show before or really watched a performance, but after Saturday I want to go to any and every show there is from now on. The ladies were mesmerizing, the way they moved their bodies and the way they totally owned that stage.

I absolutely loved the costumes too, and how could I not love all of those nipple tassels! Anyway, here are some videos of my favorite performances, they're not the greatest quality.. I had to use my Blackberry, didn't take my camera because I didn't know we could take pictures. These are possibly NSFW so wait till you get home to watch!
