MOST WANTED WEDNESDAY #26

There are a lot of pieces and trends that I'm exited to try out this Autumn/Winter, but one of them I'm most exited about is 'Colored Fur'. This was all over the Gucci A/W 2011 catwalk and paired with the colorful outfits it was just an explosion of color, exuberance and richness.

When I first head about Colored Fur I was not convinced, it sounded so tacky and something that would have been worn years ago by wannabe pop-stars who would wear them with rimless colored sunglasses and lycra bikinis. Not a good mental image! But when I saw this collection I was totally in awe.. the furs looked expensive, classy and totally modern.

I just absolutely love these and I can't wait to get my hands on some, unfortunately my budget doesn't stretch to the Gucci ones but I'm sure that the high-street will do a great job at replicating these looks, especially H&M which do lovely faux fur pieces every A/W. I'm really looking forward to injecting color into my outfits in this way and of course I will be putting all these colors together and playing around with them.

This amazing teal color is my favorite, if I don't find this shade of fur anywhere maybe I could dye it? Tell me what you think of the Colored Fur trend, either leave a comment below or send me a tweet on Twitter.

MOST WANTED WEDNESDAY #22

Sorry this post is a week late, last Wednesday went on a big night out for a friends birthday.. had an amazing night, loved!

So anyway this week's Most Wanted Wednesday is this entire look from Lady Gaga. Her 'Aussie Mouse' look was monochromatic perfection! She wore a YSL Edition Soir 2011 gown with a Ryan Jordan, black Muglar gloves, a pearl necklace and Sunettes white round sunglasses.

I absolutely love this look from head to toe, her hair (which looked a lot like how Chanel styled their models hair for their Fall/Winter 2011 show) was so cute! For Lady GaGa it's a relatively simple outfit but it really works and it's something that everyone can be inspired by.. everyone looks good in monochromatic black and white, and it's a color combination that always looks effortlessly chic (thanks to Coco Chanel in my opinion).

MOST WANTED WEDNESDAY #19

Hey guys, forget the fact that I missed last week's edition.. I have two excuses, the Blogger outage and I was at a house party. I think that those are pretty good excuses! Anyway, back to normal this week!

So this week's Most Wanted Wednesday are.. these amazing Chris Benz smoke-effect shoes.

They're an interesting shoe design anyway without the smoke print but combined they just enter a whole different level of shoe covet-ness! I totally love them, they would best be suited to a black&white monochromatic outfit in my opinion, that what I would wear them with. They would add so much interest to a plain outfit, let the shoes do the talking for you!

They are from the Chris Benz Fall 2011 collection which had a scarecrow-meets-the-1960s look to it, you should definitely check out the rest of the collection on style.com.

MOST WANTED WEDNESDAY #9

So carrying on with my previous Fashion Week themed posts, this weeks Most Wanted Wednesday comes from Milan Fashion Week.

This coat comes from a designer previously unknown to me until I saw his collection on Style.com (a great site for expanding your breadth of designers), the name is Thimister.. something odd about that word, almost like it's trying to be another word if you get what I mean! (and unfortunately I doubt anybody does).

I really like the collection, his play with drapery and the cross-overs with masculinity and femininity were very interesting. I loved this coat, the almost monastic hood really stood out at me and looked like a great cover up piece in the harsh winter weather. I wouldn't wear it as is on the runway (especially in sub-zero temperatures!!) I'd put it over a winter appropriate outfit and I could even wear it in the Spring as it looks quite lightweight.
