Untitled Dress

Hey everyone, I have been so busy these past few weeks! I started production on the 'House of Slater', the first piece I made was a long sleeve grey sweatshirt with inner sleeve zip detail in black. I also made an elasticated waist belt to go with it, I really love it and I think you guys will too! I have had a lot of comments and positive feedback when I wore it a few days ago. This weekend I am planning on making a t-shirt with a draped sash front, interesting, yes?

Anyway, this is the dress I am making for my exam piece in Textiles. It is made from a stretch jersey with a silver/sparkly thread running through it (you can't see how sparkly it is in these pictures). This is just the base of the garment and will be adding a waist belt and peplums inspired by Japanese Origami which I have recently taken an interest in.

Grey Vintage T-shirts

'Vintage look' T-shirts and the color grey are very trendy right now for men, and these 3 from New Look encompass these 2 trends perfectly. 

These T-shirts are £15 each, come in sizes XS to XXL. They are distressed to look as if you have had them for years and will continue to do so every time you wash them. 

I would wear these with dark skinny jeans and bright colored plimsoles to add a splash of color. Red goes amazingly well with grey and will make you 'pop' out of the crowd.
